Pro Faux's Sandstone Roll On Base is a product that contains small spheres that add a fine texture to the wall surface. If troweled while still damp it produces random "worms tracks" that look very stonelike when stained with the Stonewash Pigments. Sandstone Trowel On Base is thicker than paint and can be applied with a brush then troweled for a different designer look.
ProFaux’s Adobe Roll-On Base is a unique texture product that comes as a dry powder in a five-gallon pail along with mixing instructions. You simply add water, stir with the special Pro Faux Mixer and a ½" Drill and you’re ready to apply. We call this finish a roll-on base but many users like to trowel it onto the wall first, then move it around with a long haired roller to achieve the desired thickness and peaks. A clean dampened trowel knocks down the "peaks"and is left to dry overnight. The dry Adobe is then "washed" with very dilute StoneWash Pigment colors.
